Tomorrowland is the festival the rest of the field measures itself against - the Belgian flagship that sells out a small city’s worth of tickets every summer. In December 2026 it stages its first full-scale Asian edition, in Thailand.
The dates and the place
Friday 11 to Sunday 13 December 2026, at Wisdom Valley in Pattaya, Chonburi - a 237-acre purpose-built festival ground about two hours from Bangkok, with more than fifty thousand people a day across the three days.
Who plays
The full bill landed on 23 June: more than a hundred artists from over twenty nationalities across seven stages, themed Consciencia, a world shaped by six primal emotions. Martin Garrix and Swedish House Mafia lead, the latter playing Thailand for the first time, with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Afrojack, Alan Walker, Steve Aoki, Alok, Lost Frequencies, Laidback Luke, R3HAB, Kölsch, NERVO, Netsky, Infected Mushroom, Aly & Fila, Cosmic Gate and Ferry Corsten across it. CORE and Freedom make their Asian debut, and more than fifteen Thai artists play the same stages, Nakadia and Botcash among them.
The honest part
Public tickets sold out almost immediately - within hours of release - and the official hotel packages followed. The festival has been fully sold out since the end of June, with every official phase closed. The only sanctioned route left is Tomorrowland’s own Exchange Desk, which accepts registrations from original buyers until 30 August 2026; anything bought outside it risks cancellation. Being there in December is now a question of how, not whether tickets exist at the counter.
Getting there from India
Four to five hours from the metros, and Indian passports now need a Visa on Arrival or an e-Visa for Thailand. December is the coast’s best month - dry, cool evenings, the year winding down.
Why this one matters
First editions happen once. Tomorrowland has never staged its full production in Asia before - the people at Wisdom Valley in December are at the first one, and every edition after will be compared to it.

What is the weather like in Pattaya in December?
December is the best weather Thailand gets: dry season, 30 to 32 degrees in the day, and evenings that actually cool to around 24. No monsoon, low humidity by Thai standards, and clear nights - which is the whole argument for a December festival on this coast.
What should I wear to Tomorrowland Thailand?
Light clothing, and closed shoes you do not mind ruining. A festival field is dust in the dry season and mud if it rains, and either way sandals are a mistake across three days. Something warm for the last set: 24 degrees at 3am after fourteen hours on your feet feels colder than it sounds.
How do you get through three days of a festival in Thai heat?
Three days of dancing outdoors in Thai heat is the most physically demanding thing on any of these journeys. Water through the day, not just at night, and eat properly - people get through day one on adrenaline and pay for it on day two.
How far is Wisdom Valley from Bangkok?
Wisdom Valley is outside Pattaya, and Pattaya is roughly two hours from Bangkok by road. Within Pattaya, Grab and songthaews both work. The festival runs late and the road back is single-lane in places, which is the part worth having arranged rather than improvised at 4am.
How early should I arrive in Pattaya?
A day before the first night, minimum. The coast is worth a day on its own, and starting a three-day festival jetlagged is the fastest way to miss the third day.
Do Indians need a visa for Thailand?
Yes. Thailand ended visa-free entry for Indian passports on 19 May 2026. There are two routes: Visa on Arrival at the airport, valid 15 days, THB 2,000 in cash only with a passport photo; or a Tourist e-Visa applied for online before you travel, valid 60 days and no airport queue. Either way the Thailand Digital Arrival Card must be filed online within 72 hours of arrival, or the airline can refuse boarding. The desk files the arrival card for the table and prepares the paperwork with you.
How do Tomorrowland tickets work?
Tomorrowland sells in phases, by full-weekend pass and by tier, and the Thailand edition sold through its first phases almost immediately. Passes are personalised and there is a resale window rather than an open secondary market, so a pass held in advance is worth more than a plan to buy later.
How do you get around Pattaya during the festival?
Pattaya runs on songthaew shared trucks and Grab, both cheap, and shuttles run between the town and Wisdom Valley across the festival days. The road out of the site holds for a long time after the last set, which is the part most people underestimate on night one.
